Challenges
In times of emergency lending, Stree Nidhi’s manual loan authentication check protocol using SMS and Xerox copies took days to complete, losing out on precious time. And the more remote the area of the borrower, the longer it took. Moreover, with the IVRS solution, the data at the back-end was unorganised, the SHG tracker was improper, and loan approval process took longer.
Also, there was no way for the HR Management System to track the attendance and conveyance allowance of the employees on the field, which sometimes led to dishonest data provided by the employees, effecting unequal wages.
Solution
Upon introducing Galaxy Tab iris, the entire paper work was replaced with a single tablet
Knox Solutions limited the use of tablets by whitelisting and blacklisting apps and URLs
USB transfer data was blocked to avoid leaking of confidential data
Complete operations were performed on Galaxy Tab iris through Knox Admin portal for added security
All AADHAR-based verifications were done on Galaxy Tab iris
Movement of all employees was tracked remotely using GPS location , which promoted authenticity in attendance and conveyance data, which led to fair wages in the HR Management System
Result
The timeframe of AADHAR-based verification reduced, expediting the loan approval process
TCS developed a native app using Galaxy Tab iris’ SDK for optimal performance with added security through Samsung KNOX
Stree Nidhi was able to track its employees’ attendance, wage, and conveyance better through the HR Management System
