Paper free service
• As part of a global initiative and to offer customers a conscious alternative to paper documents, Samsung India’s service center operations are now paper free
• All documents that were previously issued to customers on paper are now being shared electronically
• There’s an estimated saving of 1.5 million A4 sized sheets of paper a month
Care for Clean India initiative
• Collection of e-waste through our ‘Care for Clean India’ program
• Citizen has to simply contact Samsung customer care and our authorized recycler partners will pick up the e-waste from their doorstep

Parts packaging
• We’ve initiated usage of shredded corrugated sheets for void filling in parts packaging
• In addition to replacing of thermocol in packaging, the corrugated scrap material deployed into fillings has led to reduction in scrap
Repair service
• Samsung has launched smartphone display repair services. Previously the entire display module consisting of screen, metal frame and battery was being replaced
• Customers can now choose to replace only the screen and retain the original metal frame and battery
• It is cost effective for customers and reduces e-waste
