Difference between Calculator(%) app of Samsung Galaxy S4 and other Smartphones.

Last Update Date : Apr 24. 2018

For Samsung Galaxy S4, the concept of ‘%’ in the Calculator feature is changed for the usability because most users use ‘%’ for the calculation of Interest Rates. If you enter '%' in the previous formula including the number, it will be calculated as a '%' of the previous number.

.

Example :

  • 10% = 0.1
  • 10+10% = 11 (‘%’ is applied to blue marked 10, so the result value 11 is calculated by 10+10*0.1)
  • (10+10)+10% = 22 (‘%’ is applied to blue marked 20, so 10% is 20*0.1 )
  • 10+(10+10)+10% = 32 (‘%’ is applied to blue marked 20, so 10% is 20*0.1)
