How to connect Samsung Galaxy Tab2 (GT-P3100) with a Computer via USB tethering?

STEP 1. GETTING STARTED

a).  Connect the Data cable to the Samsung Galaxy Tab2 7.0 (GT-P3100) socket and to your computer's USB port.   

 

 

  

  

 

 

b). In your Samsung Galaxy Tab2 7.0 (GT-P3100) , Tap Applications as shown below.

 

 

 

 

 

 

c). Now , Tap on Settings.

 

 

 

STEP 2. ENABLING TETHERING AND PORTABLE HOTSPOT

d). Now , Tap on  More under Wireless and Networks as shown below.

 

 

 

e). Now , Tap on Tethering and portable hotspot as shown below. 

 

 

STEP 3. COMPLETING THE SETTINGS

f). Now, Tap on  USB tethering to turn on tethering. 

 

NOTE :You need to connect your device with USB before enabling USB Tethering or else this option will seem grayed.


 

 

 

When the Box next to the menu item is ticked (V), the function is turned on as shown below.

 

 

 

Your Samsung Galaxy Tab2 7.0 (GT-P3100) is now successfully connected to your Computer.

 

NOTE : If your Tab doesn't connect to your PC then restart the Tab and follow the same procedure.
