How to uninstall or disable apps on Galaxy Smartphones

When you turn on your phone for the first time, some apps are preinstalled. Some of these apps are necessary for your phone to run correctly and cannot be uninstalled or disabled.

You would not uninstall some applications but it can disabled. You can uninstall those apps, which you can install.

Note: Available screens and settings may vary by software version and phone model.


Method-1: Apps-screen

1. Go to apps-screen.

2. Press and hold the app which you
want to uninstall.

3. Tap on Uninstall.

4. Tap on OK.

5. App uninstalled successfully.

Method-2: Settings

1. Navigate to Settings and tap on it.

2. Tap on Apps.

3. Tap on app which
you want to uninstall.

4. Tap on uninstall.

5. Tap on OK.

Method-3: Play Store

1. Go to apps-screen.

2. Tap on Play Store.

3. Tap on profile.

4. Tap on Manage apps and device.

5. Tap on Manage.

6. Tap on application which you
want to uninstall.

7. Tap on Uninstall

8. Again tap on Uninstall.

9. App uninstalled successfully.

Note: To install apps on your device, please visit the Galaxy store or Google Play store.

you want to disable.

3. Tap on Disable.

4. Tap on Disable.

5. App disabled successfully.

Method-2: Settings

1. Navigate to Settings and tap on it.

2. Tap on Apps.

3. Tap on app which
you want to disable.

4. Tap on Disable.

5.App disabled successfully.

Note: To enable the app again, go to Settings > Apps, then select the app.
