Are Samsung Plasma TVs affected by Sunlight?
Samsung Plasma TVs are not affected by sunlight, although placing the TV in direct sunlight may negatively affect your viewing experience during the day-time due to glare. The brighter the ambient light in an environment the TV is located, the harder it is for you to distinguish colors and brightness produced by the TVs panel.
Although direct sunlight may not affect the TV, a side effect of this placement may be increased temperature. This can negatively affect the TV if it is outside of its operating temperature.
