[Terms] What is “SCART Jack”?
SCART used to be the most common method of connecting audio-visual equipment together, and was a standard connector for such devices. It is Designed to carry analogue standard-definition content, SCART has become obsolete with the introduction of new digital standards such as HDMI, which can carry high-definition content and multichannel audio. HDMI-CEC is derived from SCART's AV link.
The SCART Jack is for the TV external signal Input jack for the PAL system. This convert changes between TV and External Input mode.
