Last Update Date : Mar 24. 2018

Incorrectly connected or defective cables can cause your DVD to display black and white images.

If you Are using Component or RCA Cables follow the below steps :

1 You must match the colored plugs on the cable ends to the color coded jacks on your home theatre and TV.
2 To resolve the black and white problem, verify that the cables are connected correctly and reconnect them if necessary. If the problem continues, replace the cables.

Why Black & White pictures are seen from Samsung DVD Player?
1 If you are using an S-video connection, a bent or missing pin in the plug at either end of the cable can cause your DVD player to display black and white images.
2 To resolve the black and white problem, unplug the S-video cable at both ends, and then verify that the four pins on each end are not bent or missing.
3 If the pins are bent or missing, or you are still getting a black and white image with the pins in place, replace the S-video cable.
