I Burned A Picture CD And My DVD Player Cannot Read It

To resolve your problem, try some or all of the following:

a. Convert your pictures to jpeg files and re-burn the CD using jpeg files only.

b. Rename the picture files so that the file names you assign are less than 8 characters long and contain no spaces, underscores, dashes, or other symbols.

c. Keep each picture file below 1.5 megabytes.

d. Set the resolution of each picture to less than 1600 X 1200.

e. Use no folders (directories) on the CD-R/RW and to try make the disc less than 50 megabytes.

f. Try using a Kodak picture CD.

If you continue to have problems, try burning only one jpeg file to a CD-RW following the recommendations above. Test the CD in your DVD player to make sure the player is functioning properly.
