Why some UHD contents do not play in 2013 UHD TV F9000 & S9 Series?

Samsung UHD TV F9000 and S9 Series only Support S4UH File for UHD resolution(3840 x 2160) videos. However, the video codec of movie recorded in Galaxy Note Ⅲ is H.264 which TV could not play. The movies that is downloaded from internet or recorded with Galaxy Note III can be played easily in PC or Mobile phones.

Why some UHD contents do not play in 2013 UHD TV F9000 & S9 Series ?

The S4UD format is used for content officially provided by Samsung Electronics. These files can be played only from a USB storage device. Playing them via DLNA or streaming is not possible. To overcome from this 2014 UHD TV models supports H.264/H.265(HEVC)/MJPEC codec for UHD resolution contents.
