Recently, Samsung, India’s most trusted smartphone brand, teamed up with National Geographic Traveller India to showcase the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G’s 8K Video Snap feature. 8K Video Snap lets you extract high-resolution stills from a cinematic 8K video, so you don’t have to choose between capturing one or the other. Using an 8K video snap on the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G, National Geographic Explorer and wildlife filmmaker Malaika Vaz captured majestic and gentle tiger sharks in their natural habitat. Malaika dived deep off the island paradise of Fuvahmulah in the Maldives, also known as “Shark Island.”

The journey was National Geographic Traveller India’s first-ever underwater expedition, captured using the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G’s pro-grade camera and flagship features. A video of the journey can be viewed on both Samsung India and National Geographic India’s social media channels.
