Charger is not working. What should I do?

If your mobile is not charging properly, check the following:

 

Are you using the original product charger?

 

If YES, test the mobile by using a different compatible Samsung charger. If charging the mobile with another Samsung charger resolved the issue, there is a problem with the original charger. You have the option to get a new charger or have the unit booked for service.

 

If NO, we highly advise to use the original product charger to avoid any issues. If you are using a different charger, please ensure that it is a Samsung charger and it is compatible with the mobile. Otherwise it will not charge efficiently or at all.

 

Note: If you do not have a original Samsung charger and cable, Please contact 0800726786 to source a replacement

 

 

Do you have a spare Samsung battery of the same model?

 

If YES, use the spare battery and charge the mobile. If the mobile charged with another Samsung battery, battery needs to be checked further, hence, it requires service.

 

If NO, the mobile still did not charge with another Samsung battery, the mobile charging port may need to be checked further.

 

Note: This will not apply to non-removable battery series of the Samsung Smartphones. If you need a new battery, please contact 0800 SAMSUNG (726786).

 

Important reminders:

■  Ensure that the charger is connected properly.
■  If the battery terminals are dirty, the battery may not charge properly or the device may turn off. Wipe both the gold-coloured contacts and try charging the battery again.
■ The batteries in some devices are not user-replaceable.
