How do I install the SIM card on my Galaxy S6?

Step 1: Power off your device.

Step 2: Insert the ejection pin into the hole on the SIM card tray to loosen the tray.

Your ejection pin was provided in the original packaging with your device. It is possible to purchase replacement ejection pins from most large online retailers. While it is possible to use a similar shaped object to open the tray (like a paper clip), Samsung recommends only using a official ejection pin. Objects other than the official ejection pin may damage your device if they are too sharp or the wrong size. Do not force an object into the ejection hole as this could damage the internal parts of your device and void your warranty.

Step 3: Pull out the SIM card tray gently from the SIM card tray slot.

Step 4: Remove or insert the SIM card as required. Note that when inserting the card, the gold coloured contacts should be placed facing down.

Step 5: Insert the SIM card tray back into the SIM card tray slot. Ensure that the tray is closed tightly to prevent water and dust entering the device.
