How to use the Gear 2 Heart rate monitor

1. For accurate heart measurement results, avoid wearing the device over the wrist bone. Wear the device so that it fits firmly around your lower arm just above the wrist as shown.

2. Swipe right to left until you see the Heart Rate app.

3. Tap on “OK” when you see the advice message.

4. Tap “Start”.

5. The device will begin measuring.

5 

6. Once the measurement has been made,your Heart rate will be displayed.

7. If the device has any difficulty in measuring your heart rate a pop up to advise you will appear. Tap on Retry to do the measurement again.

8. To see your Heart Rate history, first tap on the menu icon.

9. Tap on “History”.

9 

10. Recent Heart rate measurement history will be displayed.

10 

 

 

If you have set up the S Health app on your connected Galaxy S5 device, when you tap on the Heart rate icon, the last measurement made using the Gear 2 will be displayed on the screen of the galaxy S5.
