What is S Health 3.0?

Samsung S Health 3.0 is the updated version of S Health. It remembers the history and even goes through the effort of graphing it and offering up other relevant information about your health.

S Health 3.0 lets you manage your lifestyle by letting you set fitness goals, monitor your progress and keep track of your overall well-being. The Galaxy S5 is one of the first smartphones to include a Heart Rate Sensor and this ties in nicely with the wearables, such as Samsung Gear 2 and Samsung Gear Fit, which are also the first Samsung wearables to include this feature.


Advantages of S Health 3.0: 

■ Overall design of the app is a lot cleaner and lighter than before, as it gets rid of the blood pressure and blood glucose sections.

■ Unified dashboard which makes this app easier to use. This enhances the user experience, especially for those who are new to fitness apps.

■ As well as a pedometer, exercise monitor and food tracker, there’s a heart rate sensor built into the Galaxy S5. This lets users check their stats quickly on request before, during and after exercise.

■ Hiking has also been added to running, walking and cycling in the Exercise menu, to make it even easier to tailor your workouts.
