How to fix Apps issue in SmartHub?

If you start having issue's with Smart Hub, it is required that you reset the Smart Hub settings and upgrade the software.

Alternatively you are able to delete the specific application and re-download this again to update the newer version.

(Note: Steps below are for M/MU/Q/LS Model TVs (2017 - Current) )

 

For steps on how to do this, see below: 

 

1 Press the Home button on your remote control, then Select Apps
2 Click on the Settings Cogwheel in the top right hand corner.
3 Scroll through the Apps list until you find the selected Application. Use the arrow down to access the menu to show the Delete option.

Please Note: The Delete option will be greyed out for pre-installed apps. They cannot be uninstalled.

4 Select Delete to confirm. The App will be removed from the TV and you will be able to reinstall this again.

1 Press the Home button on your remote control and select Apps.
2 Select the Options button on the bottom right of the screen.
3 Select Delete .
4 Tick the apps you want to delete, and select Delete at the bottom of the screen.

Please Note: Pre-installed apps will be greyed out and cannot be uninstalled

5 Select Delete to confirm. Then Select OK to finish when the progress bar reaches 100%.
J/JU/JS Model TVs (2015)Click to Expand
1 Press the Smarthub button on your remote control and select Featured on the TV screen.
2 Select Apps
3 Select Options in the top right corner of the screen
4 Select Delete My Apps
5 Tick the apps you want to delete, and select Delete at the bottom of the screen.

Please Note: Pre-installed apps will be greyed out and cannot be uninstalled

6 Select Yes to confirm deletion. The TV will confirm once having deleted the chosen Apps
E/EH/ES Model TVs (2012) to H/HU/F Model TVs (2014)Click to Expand
1 Press Smart Hub button on the remote control to launch Smart Hub.
2 Highlight the application you want to delete.
3 Press the TOOLS button on my remote control.
4 Select Delete and then press Enter button from your remote control.
5 A confirmation prompt will appear, highlight Yes and press the Enter button on the remote. Once the app has been deleted a second confirmation prompt will be displayed; to complete, press the Enter button on the remote.
6 Repeat steps 2 to 5 until you have deleted all unwanted applications
