Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptional Laptop/Tablet You for purchasing the Galaxy Book, I purchased my first non-Samsung device in almost three years. I purchased the Microsoft Surface Go for use in my doctoral program because of devices overall concept and claim of exceptional performance. I regretted my decision the day I first opened and tried the device at home. The device was unable to meet my basic requirements as a student and therefore I had no choice but to return it.. The device was unable to meet my basic requirements as a student and therefore I had no choice but to return it. I then purchased the Galaxy Book the very next day and never regretted this decision like all Samsung products I purchase. The performance of the Galaxy Book, along with the quality and outstanding features make this the laptop/tablet that I was looking for. Not once has the device crashed nor froze on me. The keyboard is much over rated read the reviews found online. It is a sturdy keyboard they really enables easy use of the device. My biggest regret purchasing this device was that I did not purchase it sooner. While the device does get a bit hot, it is not a huge concern. Overall this is an exceptional device and I would not hesitate to purchase it if you are looking into buying one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well done windows tablet This is a solid tablet. The build quality is excellent. The unusually small size is still quite functional as a laptop. It performs better than I expected. The screen looks great. The battery lasts a long time. Windows 10 works as well as a laptop as it does as a tablet operating system, and Samsung's enhancements are high-quality and well thought out. The keyboard cover seems ingenious, but I did not see a place to stow the S-Pen. I bought a cheap USB-C hub for keyboard, mouse, video and power. It did not keep the computer charged, so I had to buy the Samsung-branded USB-C hub for it. It works great now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great android replacement I have used the Samsung Note 10 2014 for years now. I've never really seen anything that I want to replace it with. Then I saw the Samsung Galaxy Book. For the price, I thought I could give it a try. And I'm very glad I did. It replaces the Note and adds Windows which makes it much mor compatible for my work. It's not a replacement for the laptop but a great small tool to carry around for meetings and quick work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it - *almost* perfect! <3 I was waiting for the Galaxy Book to come out since it was first announced; as I was in the market for a 2-in-1 tablet for (first and foremost) a portable digital art tablet and (secondly) general computing for those times I'm away from my home computer. It was definitely worth the wait! As a long time Samsung customer my expectations for the form, function, and display were pretty high - and were met if not exceeded. It feels "tough". The display is gorgeous and the S-Pen functions very well. (I wouldn't say perfectly but darn near...however, for what it's worth, the Samsung/Staedtler Noris Digital Pencil I bought just for curiosity's sake ended up being the "perfect" S-Pen for me anyway!) My only complaints are laughably minor - and probably don't resonate with anyone else anyway: As I use it primarily for sketching/drawing and digital art, I find myself wishing Samsung had just gone all in and made the bigger Galaxy Book closer to 13" - 12 is just a *tad* too small. Just enough to be frustrating at times. (I'm loathe to say it but you-know-who's 12.9" tablet is really the sweet spot in that regard...>.>) My only other nit to pick is the keyboard cover/case - it's...*functional*, certainly, but not exactly aesthetically pleasing with its sickly gray color and kind of sticky/creepy texture. Wish there were more options for cases, but I'm sure those will come along in time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid High End Competitor This is a wonderful tool fully capable of running demanding software ranging from Photoshop to Solid works and Revit. The implementation of Samsung's design has culminated into a beautiful sleek slab of magnesium and glass that has a high end feel, weight, and style. It has a hassle free connectivity for me spanning my different networks with a battery life that keeps pace with my insane schedule. The screen clarity and resolution is clear enough to run Photoshop with no problems if you can work on a small screen. My criticism comes down to the keyboard/case which is not illuminated and is constructed of a vinyl composition that will not weather well for a busy traveler. Mine has already obtained a hole. It is of a similar design to Samsungs rival in this market, but i feel that this is where improvement can definately be made to construction and design. In short I have recommended this wonderful machine to colleagues, friends, and family. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from unboxing of the Samsung Galaxy Book I have been in the market for a tablet well over a year now. My old tablet has exceeded its years and compatibilities, so this time I wanted to try a completely different system. Since i've grown accustomed to the competitors products such as their desktops & phones. My only concern was the transition into a Windows OS. It has been instant gratification knowing the tablet can be ideal and "sleeping" yet instantaneously start working and opening several applications without any lagging or loading seconds of using. Unboxing and setup was simple, once fully charged I turned on my Samsung Galaxybook and quickly realized it's more than just a tablet, It's literally a full windows cpu in a tablet form which crazy enough is more portable than a laptop. Surprisingly the Galaxybook is my go to tool when needing to get my work done. Its lightweight design, and keyboard/cover makes my computing experience way much more pleasurable and spontaneous. I highly recommend this product to anyone wanting a much easier and complete computing experience. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loving the Galaxy Book I'm really loving the Galaxy Book. The screen is a good size and is really vivid. The keyboard is highly responsive although it has taken me a bit to get used to the smaller size. I bought an adapter so that I'm able to add a mouse instead of using the touch pad as it is more what i'm used to. I do wish that it had 2 usb c ports so that I could leave it charged in while at home at my desk. But, that's not a deal breaker as the battery life has been pretty good. I love how quiet the system is instead of how a laptop is noisy when the fan runs. I was able to add Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 and haven't seen any issues with that. I'm looking forward to taking this with me when I travel as it is very thin and lightweight so that it will easily fit in my backpack and will be nice to have an actual computer instead of just a tablet. I've noticed that facebook tends to not load pictures for me for some reason. Both in the app and on the website. Not sure why that is. But searching the web seems to work rather quickly otherwise. I still have other features that I need to test but overall this is a great replacement for my aging laptop. Although it doesn't have a lot of storage space. But, I plan on using a external drive when I need to save things. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
