Do Samsung Hard Drives Support Linux or Macintosh?

Last Update Date : Jan 08. 2018

Samsung full-size hard drives are standard IDE devices and thus should be detected by and compatible with any operating system that supports IDE without the need for drivers. Samsung does not provide software or support for Linux or Mac OS.

Apple Powerbooks will only support hard drives with the Apple logo, so Samsung mobile hard drives are not guaranteed to work with them.
