LCD : How do I upgrade the firmware for my Samsung SA Series LED monitor?
First of all, download the required firmware program file, and save to your pc system (http://www.samsung.com/ph/support/main/supportMain.do).
Execute (run) the firmware file, (as previously saved on your pc system).
The 'Setup' will then progress by itself, as shown below.
If you have an Intel/AMD series VGA video card on your pc system, then the setup will then complete.
Click Finish to exit out of the screen below.
After selecting Finish, the Updater will run automatically.
If you have an NVIDIA video card on your pc system, you will need to choose whether or not to reboot your pc, as shown below.
(NOTE: Your 'Samsung Firmware Updater' instructions will be given in English).
Then after re-booting your pc, the Updater will run automatically.
Then if an upgrade is not available, you will receive the message below.
However, if your monitor requires an upgrade, then this will be performed, as shown below.
The monitor's power will then switch off and on again, and the following picture will appear:
