Galaxy Note 8: What to do when network signal is often lost and outgoing call also fails?
Samsung had been notified that users with Galaxy Note8 devices based on USCC operator may experience a limited network issues(i.e. No network signal, Outgoing call’s failure) when moving between specific areas where support different network service (i.e. From VoLTE area to LTE roaming area). This issue has already been resolved with an upcoming software update.
Please update your Note8 device to the latest version via FOTA or Smart Switch PC.
Samsung always encourages users to keep software and apps updated to latest version.
Alternatively for stable network service temporarily before release, please deactivate Enhanced Calling option on your device.

Note: because this option is enabled at only VoLTE available area, we recommend to move to other areas if this option is disabled as grey tones.
In some area(i.e. Roaming area), this option can be disabled
