The Geo News feature notifies you when natural disasters and extreme weather conditions occur close to your current location.

The options presented with such a notification will vary depending on the severity of the event and its closeness to you. The exact information provided on the event may differ somewhat between network operators.

Geo News may incur additional charges when you're using your device outside your network operator's territory (such as in a foreign country).

6. Read the terms and conditions, touch the check box (to mark that you have read and agree to them) and then touch OK.

Note: if you touch the check box next to "Notifications pop-ups" (marking it with a tick) your device will display notifications of serious natural disasters in a pop-up window, along with options to make emergency calls and/or send emergency messages.

Less dangerous natural disasters will appear in the status bar at the top of the screen instead.
