Kies is used throughout the world to manage content on Samsung mobile devices. Kies is a complete end-to-end solution that allows you to manage, transfer, and enjoy content, including photos, videos, music, contacts, and calendar events between your compatible mobile device and a computer.

Function of Samsung Kies

Kies also allows you to synchronize your Microsoft® Outlook® content on your computer with a mobile device. A user who doesn't use Microsoft® Outlook® can use the built in Personal Information Management (PIM) software to create contacts, calendar events, and schedules.


Kies has strong device management capabilities while keeping things simple.

When you connect your mobile device to Kies via a USB cable, you will be automatically notified of any updates to your device firmware that are available.

Kies support for your Mac is also available to help you manage your data transfers.

or Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1(Windows Vista/7)
** Windows 8 includes Windows Media Player.

Note 1. 
Windows 8 N and Windows 8 KN editions require Microsoft's "Media Feature Pack" which 
includes Windows Media Player and its corresponding support software. 
"Media Feature Pack" is available from Microsoft homepage (www.microsoft.com)

If using Kies with Windows 8 operating systems, 
please be advised that currently only Samsung Android OS and BADA OS based mobile devices are supported.
