How do I ensure that my Samsung mobile device is powered by safe batteries?
If the battery in your Samsung mobile device is damaged, for example if it is dented, we recommend that you stop using it immediately and replace it with a genuine Samsung battery.
If a damaged battery is used it could diminish the performance of the device and in some cases cause damage or injury through overheating, fire or explosion.
Examples of situations that could damage the battery include:
1. Taking your mobile device into an excessively hot environment
2. Dropping the battery
3. Dropping your mobile device while the battery is inside it
4. External pressure on the battery, such as through a pet biting it.
If you notice strange smells or sounds coming from your
device or the battery, or if you see smoke or liquids leaking
from the device or battery, stop using the device immediately
and take it to a Samsung Service Centre
Failure to do so may result in fire or explosion.
We recommend that spare batteries are kept in a hard-shell case when not in use.
You should use only batteries manufactured by Samsung or batteries that have been otherwise approved by Samsung for use with Samsung products.
The use of incompatible batteries, cables and chargers could damage your device and, by extension, cause injury.
Ensure maximum battery and charger life
1.Avoid charging your device for more than a week, as
overcharging may shorten battery life.
2.Over time, unused device will discharge and must be recharged
3.Disconnect the charger from power sources when not in use.
4.Use the battery only for their intended purposes.
5.Leaving batteries unused over time may reduce their lifespan
and performance. It may also cause the batteries to malfunction
or explode, or cause a fire.
