Galaxy S7 Flat/Edge: When two Photodiode applies, what is the better point?

Last Update Date : Apr 09. 2018

In order to catch the focus on the subject, even though the previous devices had used only a few limited pixels, Galaxy S7 utilizes every pixel. Using both the two photodiodes of each pixel, Galaxy S7 graspsthe focusquickly like the human eye.

It‟s similar with principle which the eyes work to catch focus. After generating the left-right image and calculating the target position by comparing the distance, lens move to the position at a time. Since it is possible to minimize the lens moving , it‟s possible to shoot without shaking at a fast speed focusing.

And, since pixel area to receive light is widened due to dual photodiode and more light lens of F1.7 is applied , it reduces noise and can take a picture with vibrant colors. By a faster shutter speed even in low-light environments, you can shoot high-quality images.
