Into the future, the current capacities of 8GB for DRAM and 256GB for NAND in Samsung's IVI systems are expected to increase alongside the relevant technological advancements.
The uptake of advanced vehicle connectivity is also expected to ramp up in the coming years, with solutions underpinned by telematics and 5G connectivity. Increases in data traffic and new legislation have also given vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and V2X implementation a boost, with the US NHTSA proposing a rule that would require all new vehicles to feature V2V communication capabilities by 2023.
