Creating a safe place to work means we must take action before accidents happen. That’s why we manage safety by securing our facilities, increasing awareness and implementing safety programs for all of our employees and partners.

We provide
both
human and material
resources
for our
employees and partners
to create the safest
workplace in the world.

Safety is the future.

Environmental safety is Samsung’s first principle. This is because a safe workplace creates a safe future for all of us. To ensure everyone’s safety, we deliver materials to raise awareness among staff, prevent accidents and encourage company campaigns.

We can also respond to emergencies at any moment. Fire brigades at our Giheung and Hwaseong sites act as first responders in case of an emergency and are equipped with chemical fire trucks, multi-purpose rescue vehicles and life-saving devices.

In addition, we promote safety culture and increase safety awareness through Health & Safety Week contests, EHS Innovation Day events and newsletters. We offer seminars and workshops with industry experts to help spread the importance of safety among management.

To lead,
we must prioritize
environmental safety.

And as leaders,
we must be the ones
to find solutions.

At Samsung, we put the safety of others above work. We are leading an advanced environmental safety culture and are encouraging our partners and fellow leaders to take part in creating a safer workplace.

And we will continue to protect the safety of others and our surroundings for the sake of our staff, our partners and ourselves — for a better future for everyone.
