Singapore – 28 September 2018 – Samsung Electronics Singapore has announced today the availability of The Frame 2018, an evolution of Samsung’s award-winning lifestyle TV, The Frame 2017. With enhanced features, new customisation options and hundreds of available works of art from renowned artists around the world including collections from the Victoria and Albert Museum, The Frame 2018 transforms the living room into a dynamic gallery space.

The Samsung Art Store1, the world’s largest art platform for TVs, houses an ever-growing and diverse library of artworks from some of the most prominent museums and galleries around the world. Whether home owners prefer to change the look of their home or proudly display pictures of their children on the first day of school, consumers are given the flexibility to customise The Frame 2018 to create their preferred aesthetic in the room.

 

Thanks to an improved user interface, owners of The Frame 2018 can browse different art pieces based on colour schemes, or categories such as drawings or photography. Consumers are able to create a personalised art collection that shuffles through their favourite selections as often as they would like, similar to curating a music playlist.

The Frame 2018 features a crisp and clear 4K UHD screen powered by HDR10+ technology, allowing consumers to view the content just the way the film director intended. Similar to Samsung’s 2018 QLED TV line-up, The Frame 2018 also offers smart capabilities such as the new SmartThings mobile app2 to consumers. They can now experience an effortless set-up when setting up a new TV, saving significant amount of time for them to jump right into their favourite shows.

 

Thanks to Samsung’s No Gap Wall-Mount3 which is included in-box, The Frame 2018 seamlessly blends in with home décor as it is mounted on the wall just like a picture frame. Consumers are also provided with a variety of customisable magnetic bezel options4 – white, walnut, beige wood and porcelain blue – allowing them to enhance the ambience and style of the room.

 

With the One Invisible Connection 2.05, a slim, translucent cable that integrates power cable and data line from the back of TV to the One Connect Box, wire clutter is reduced to a minimum, assuring consumers that The Frame 2018 is an aesthetically pleasing fit for any living space.
