Removing Password of a Local Account

Step 1:
Press Windows 8 logo + C key –> Click Settings

Step 2:
Click Change PC settings

Step 3:
Click Users menu

Step 4:
Click Sign-in options - Change your password

Step 5:
Type Current password, and click Next

Step 6:
Leave the New password field empty, and click Next

Step 7:
Click Finish button

Step 8:
Reboot your PC and check to see if the password is removed



Removing Password of a Microsoft Account


Step 1:
Check for network connection

Step 2:
Press Windows 8 logo + R key

Step 3:
After typing netplwiz.exe, click OK button

Step 4:
Choose the proper Microsoft account, uncheck the Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer box and click OK

Step 5:
After typing password, click OK button

Step 6:
Reboot your PC and check to see if the password is removed
