How to solve no power issue in Samsung Refrigerator?

Last Update Date : May 28. 2018

When your Refrigerator is showing no sign of power, it could be due to the following factors:

• The fridge is unplugged
• House's circuit breaker is tripped
• Power surges

To find out the root cause, follow these steps:

1 Check to see if the Refrigerator is unplugged
2 Check the house's circuit breaker and whether it is tripped
3 If the circuit is tripped, unplug the Refrigerator before resetting the circuit
4 If the circuit is not tripped, your Refrigerator might need servicing. Call our Contact Centre for further assistance

When returning from a power outage or brownout, the power may not restart cleanly. This may result in the processor being locked up.

Once the power returns, follow these steps:

1 Unplug your refrigerator
2 Wait 30 seconds
3 Plug your refrigerator back in

When power returns, the unit may power up properly but the display will show the actual temperature instead of the factory default set temperatures.

In such case, set the Refrigerator to Power Cool and Power Freeze modes until the unit returns to the desired operating temperature.

If surges or glitches on the power line damage the unit either at the time of the outage or when power is restored, a service call is need.
