What to do when unauthorized screen appears while rebooting Samsung Mobile Device?

If OEM (Stands for Original equipment manufacturer) Unlock is enabled in Developer options, device may not reboot properly. OEM Unlock setting is a function that is related to device's security. 

If the function is activated, it simply means that all rights reserved by the manufacturer are removed and the device protection function and apps such as Knox and Samsung Pay will not work. Therefore, OEM Unlock function should be deactivated. 

Once receiving the unauthorized screen, tap RESET button and check whether OEM Unlock is activated in Developer options.

Please note: Once reset, all data will be erased and initialized. If you have not backup your data using Samsung Smart Switch or Samsung Cloud regularly and do not want to lose your data, please visit our Samsung Service Centre for further assistance.

To check the status of OEM Unlock, follow these steps:

1 Go to Apps screen and tap Settings

3 Tap Build number 7 times to enable a developer mode

4 Go back to Settings and tap Developer options

5 Check the status for OEM unlock. Keep the status, if it is deactivated. If it is activated, turn if off. After deactivating OEM Unlock function, the device will restart and then press the RESET button again
