How to fix black screen issue when launching Netflix on Samsung TV?

Ready to watch a movie on Netflix but discovered that the screen is black? Find out how to resolve the issue below:

1 Restart your device

• Unplug your TV for 1 minute
• Press and hold the power button on your TV for 5 seconds
• Plug your TV back
• Turn on the TV and launch Netflix
2 Remove and reinstall the App

To remove the App, follow these steps:
• Press the Home button on your remote control
• To bring up an additional menu, navigate to the app that you would like to remove, and then press Down using the directional pad on your remote
• Select Remove/Delete (depending on your model)
• If Netflix is not Add to Home previously, select Apps and remove directly in Smart Hub

To reinstall the App, follow these steps:
• Press the Home button on your remote control
• Using the Directional pad on your remote to navigate and select APPS
• Select Netflix App and install onto your TV
• To begin downloading and installing the selected app onto your TV, select Install
3 Reset the Smart Hub

• Exit Smart Hub
• Press Menu key on your remote control and navigate to Smart Hub
• Select Smart Hub Reset > Reset Smart Hub
• Enter your PIN (default is 0000)
• A message notification will be displayed to indicate the reset is complete

If your remote control does not have number pad:
• Press Home button on your remote
• Select Settings > Support > Self Diagnosis > Reset Smart Hub
