It is bright, sharp and the big inner screen makes watching videos and doing work much more enjoyable. Battery life has also been better than I expected. With normal daily use, I can get through most of the day without worrying about charging.Performance feels very smooth too, even when I have several apps open at the same time. I was a little unsure about the Hinge at first, but it feels strong and well made. The phone also feels more solid than I expected, which gives me confidence about Durability for everyday use. There is a small learning curve because it is different from a normal phone, but after using it for a few days, I got used to it quickly. Overall, it feels like a premium phone that is actually useful.

It looks gorgeous, feels so stylish and is such a fun phone to use. The camera quality is AMAZING! 📸 The photos are so clear, sharp and full of detail, and I’m really impressed with how good they look even when zooming in. This is definitely one of my favourite things about the phone. I also absolutely love being able to use the screen when the phone is folded. I can answer calls, check messages and do so much without even having to flip it open, which is honestly so convenient! The responsiveness is brilliant too — everything feels quick and smooth. The hinge feels really sturdy and smooth when opening and closing, and the crease is much less noticeable than I expected. I’m also really impressed with the battery so far, and the phone feels like it has great durability while still being sleek and lightweight. I love how compact it is when folded, but then you have a lovely big screen when you open it up. It feels like such a huge upgrade and I’m genuinely SO happy with it! The Display is probably my favourite part, its big and bright and makes watching videos and multitasking much better. Performance is also really smooth, apps open fast and I havent noticed much lag so far. Battery life has been pretty good for me, although heavy use does drain it quicker like you would expect. The Hinge feels solid and the overall Durability seems good, but I still find myself being a bit careful with a foldable phone. Overall I like it a lot, especially for work and multitasking. Its expensive but if you actually use the big screen then I think it makes more sense.

The full back display and cameras being on the same surface allows for photography moments that no other smartphone series does. The Z Flip8 feels lighter and yet more durable than it's predecessors and after double checking right now... The main screen 'crease' is nowhere to be seen. The only place where the phone feels lacking is it's battery performance. It's not bad by any means but is also nothing to write home about and will need a charge before the day is up as well as overnight. Genuinely a fun and functional flip phone - would recommend!

I saw the major improvement to front screen aspect ratio and thickness in the Z Fold 7 and was super keen. Z Fold 8 Ultra continued the upgrades and made the crease less noticeable so I immediately pre ordered. Been using it for 2 weeks now and even my partner, who's using a non-android device (iykyk) is jealous. Super happy but also super excited at the direction samsung folds are going. The standard Fold 8 also doesnt fall far behind so I'm keen to try that a few generations in.

The Vodafone store even told me I was the first person to pick one up from them, which was pretty cool! The phone is incredibly fast and smooth, especially when multitasking. The camera has been a big improvement and takes great photos and videos. The crease is also much less noticeable. I’ve also been impressed with the AI capabilities. There are plenty of useful features that actually make everyday tasks easier rather than just feeling like a gimmick. I’m very happy with the upgrade, I've had the fold 1, 2, 5 and now the 8 ultra. Pre ordered it immediately and love everything about it, build quality is exceptional, battery is improved a lot, hinge feels sturdy yet responsive. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] so I had the flip 4 and went back to tablet phone (s25+) to see how i would get on. needless to say I went back to the zflip 8 and, so far, I love it. easy to use main screen and great screen on front which can do so much and I'm still learning! the main screen is very responsive and battery life seems good although I'm still to test properly . the feel of the phone is so much better than the flip 4 and s25plus, much thinner than both of these making it unobtrusive when in pocket . hope the durability of the hinge has improved as this was the only thing that let me down on the 4 version. quality of pictures and videos are great for a phone. so far so good and so glad I switched back to a flip.

I chose to upgrade because I keep my phone in my shirt pocket so I don't have to get it out of my pants pockets, especially if I'm sitting down. So thinner and lighter makes a difference for me, especially when I travel. I also love being able to fold it and set it on a table. Can't go back to a candy bar style phone ever.
At just 201g, it's the lightest book-style foldable yet and feels much more pocketable. Folded: Wide and compact like a passport — the 5.5-inch cover screen is way more usable one-handed for texting, scrolling, and quick tasks. Unfolded: The 7.6-inch inner screen has a near 4:3 ratio that's excellent for videos, YouTube, Netflix, and browsing with fewer black bars. The crease is much less noticeable thanks to new Flex Titanium tech, and the hinge feels solid. It’s fun to open and close. Some people might still find the thickness or sharp corners slightly awkward in tight pockets, but overall it's a huge improvement in everyday comfort.

Battery life is the biggest change: my Fold 5 would barely make it through a full day, and I was always hunting for a charger by evening. The Fold 8 Ultra actually holds up. The hinge is noticeably smoother, and the main screen crease is much better than the Fold 5's, still visible if you're looking for it, but a real improvement. Responsiveness is a smaller difference, but it's there; everything just feels a touch snappier day to day. The thing I like most, though, is the wider cover screen. On the Fold 5, typing out a quick WhatsApp reply on the outside screen felt cramped, so I'd end up unfolding the phone way more than I should've just to reply to something simple. The Fold 8 Ultra's wider cover screen makes typing and quick replies feel natural without opening it, a small change that makes a real difference day to day. I've only had the 8 Ultra a week, so I can't speak to long-term durability first-hand yet. But I had my Fold 5 since launch with zero issues, so if the 8 Ultra holds up anywhere near as well, I'll be more than happy.

Many things were improved in the Ford 8 ultra relative to the previous generation plus the camera battery or charging But when it comes to the competition of Chinese smartphones, it's not stety samsung a little pale appearance. I hope that not long will samsung improve it but I really like these phones so I bought it soft and the software at the highest level as to the quality of the screen is good but it could have been better. I also have a samsung s 26 ultra and I have the impression that the screen there is a little better so not exactly samsung tried Ala despite the weak minuses samsung zfold 8 ultra is a great phone and good refined and I am very pleased with it, there is a big improvement in terms of the previous generation and this is very cool

This is my 4th Z Flip the size is perfect for pockets, the main screen is protected by the clam fold it's lighter, the hinge is smoother, the "crease" is almost non existent! Colours are better this year too. Linked to all my other devices seamlessly especially my Mini! Battery also lasting longer, always use battery protection so never charge beyond 85% you can now choose your protection level also. Much more responsive and love the prompt features and AI spam alerts. It feels slimmer but still durable and substantial. You won't be disappointed!

I love flip because it fits in all my small purses and my pocket in my scrubs. I have noticed a much faster processing capacity and smoother opening from beinf closed. I was hesistant to upgrade this time around since I knew there weren't a lot of changes made from Z flip 7 which I most recently had. Even when I'm working, I can slightly flip the phone and keep it for video mode on without having to rely on anything else. My hands don't get tired of holding the phone. Plus Z flip 8 has some a cute feature of choosing multiple pictures for the lock screen, which helps me put pictures of my loved ones and reminds me of them whenever I look at my phone. Additionally, the phone is so light, the screen feels extremely good different and smooth. Even after flipping the phone, it doesn't show the line. Samsung has taken phones to some other level. The hinge mechanism is far smoother and easier to open. The screen brightness boost makes a big difference (as does the anti-reflective layer on the inner screen) and the ultra wide camera upped to 50px really does make for more detailed photos. The faster charging is great too, I really notice it when in a rush to top up (though the battery is lasting longer already, the extra MAh really help). Plus the Shadow Green colourway is gorgeous. My favourite colour anyway, so it was a no brainer!

Overall greatly enhanced experience! Able to do a lot more on cover screen and the device is thinner and lighter (slightly wider, though). The screen quality is also noticeably better. I chose the Z Flip series over Razr because I'm more used to the Samsung system. I'm so happy they finally expanded the cover screen to surround the camera lenses on the Flip 7 and 8 like the Razr series has had for yesrs already.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From switching from the s series of samsung phones to the z series, the experience I've had on the phone so far has been excellent and offers a different experience to the s series at no drawbacks. The responsiveness of the phone is impeccable and is extremely smooth, the new silicon carbon battery allows for your flagship battery life whilst making the phone slimmer, which shows in the crease now taking a huge visual decrease seen in other fold phones and also the hinge being smooth and durable to allow easy opening. And finally with the new titanium screen fitted into the screen the durability has stepped up dramatically.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a loyal z flip girly since the first generation and I have throughly felt like every new flip came with updates that were absolutely worth the upgrade year after year. The 8 does have decent updates; however, these updates are more so for convenience rather than needs for increased usability. For me personally, I could've gone without the upgrade to the 8. I only upgraded due to the rumors of this being the last flip so I wanted to make sure I had the latest version if this were to be true. I think if you enjoy the flip 7 and don't need or can't afford the upgrade, then you're good and aren't missing out on much.

The hinge is seamless when opening to the big screen. The responsiveness is incredible. As much as i know it's a new phone out of the box but the phone given its style feels durable, well made and great engineering. It's an expensive phone yes but you get what you pay for.

The front screen is convenient for checking notifications and texts without opening the phone. I was initially concerned about the crease in the center where the phone folds, since that's a common issue with foldables. This is the 8th generation, though, so hopefully Samsung has resolved it. I use the phone for both work and personal purposes, and it handles the switch between the two well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Z Flip 8 as an upgrade from my Z Flip 5. The difference is night and day. It's almost like the fold in the screen doesn't exist. It's completely smooth and a visually stunning display. The move to make the front screen the entire front cover and more functional was the right choice. Time will tell if the screen holds up better than the 5, but overall the phone feels less fragile while also being sleeker. While it is larger than the Z Flip 5, it is thinner and still fits in the teeny tiny pockets they put on women's clothing. The camera quality is great and I can open multiple apps and stream or use Android Auto without the phone overheating. The battery seems to last significantly longer too. After a full day of use I'm at 71% compared to around 40% on my old phone.

So I get the best of both worlds. I really enjoy the front screen for quick peak at emails, messages and apps. This zflip8 really makes mobility with connection a must have. I feel free from from what seemed liked carrying a brick from the previous phones. They would stick out of your pocket with a bulky inconvenient carry. The battery is big and reliable, so you’re not constantly watching the percentage. The crease is still technically there, but it’s finally at the point where you mostly forget about it. Durability feels much better thanks to the titanium structure and tougher overall design. The hinge is smoother, sturdier, and just satisfying to use. The responsiveness makes the whole phone feel fun and fast every time you open it. If you already love foldables or have been waiting for one that feels “ready” for everyday life, the Z Fold 8 Ultra really does feel like that milestone device.

I chose the Flip 8 because I get a new Flip phone every year, taking advantage of the trade in program offered by Samsung. They get better every year. Most notable of the improvements of the Flip 8 vs the Flip 7 is the speed and battery life. I know the battery power did not significantly change from last year, but it appears the processing speed change has had a positive effect on battery life. Looking forward to working with this phone.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, so I have gone from flip 6 to 7, and now 8. I really like the flip. It's a good form factor in my pocket. This one is only a slight upgrade, though. Camera etc are much the same. The more powerful chip is noticeable when in use. My biggest issue is battery. It didn't need to be slimmer and lighter, because it was already a compact size. It needed a bigger capacity battery, that doesn't run so hot. This thing gets insanely hot if, say, you are running android auto with sat nav going. To the point where the phone shuts down. Not good, during a long car journey to somewhere you don't know. So, this has not changed from the 7. I was hoping it would. Everything else is good.

The foldable design is so convenient, you cannot see the flit screen ince opened showing 0 crese! Its that smooth. Flipping makes traveling easier as it fits easily into my pocket or handbag while still opening up to a gorgeous ful -sized display. The camera quality is fantastic, the battery easily lasts me through the day and everything runs so smoothly. I also love how customisable it is, especially being able to personalise the cover screen to make it feel unique. It pairs perfectly with my Samsung devices, making everyday tasks so much easier. The first thing I noticed was how much thinner and more refined it feels. It’s noticeably more comfortable to hold and carry, while still keeping everything I loved about the Flip form factor. The biggest improvement for me, though, is the battery life. With my Flip 6, I was always keeping an eye on the battery throughout the day. With the Flip 8, I can use my phone all day without constantly worrying about finding a charger. That alone has made a huge difference in everyday use. Overall, the Flip 8 feels like a much more polished and mature version of the Flip. It may look like an incremental upgrade on paper, but the thinner design and improved battery life make a surprisingly big difference in daily use. I’m very happy I upgraded. So worth it.
Just got the Z Fold 8 Ultra! Upgraded from the S24 Ultra, and honestly, it’s a totally different experience. I’m loving the foldable design, how it feels in my hand, and the whole experience so far. The camera's surprisingly good too! Really happy with the upgrade! It definitely feels like a whole new way to use a phone. My only bummer is that I kept trying to order it multiple times to get the best deal, but my order kept getting canceled, and I missed out on the Bud 4 Pro offer.

My previous phone to the flip 8 was the 5, and wow, what an upgrade! I'm so glad I chose to spend the extra money and spring for the 8 instead of the 7. The processor is so much faster, the camera is better, honestly the whole experience makes my old phone feel like it was slow and clunky. Obviously I've only had a day with my new phone, but first impressions are fantastic.
