Based on The Dark Crystal, Jim Henson’s ground-breaking 1982 feature film, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance tells a new epic story. Set many years before the events of the original, the world of Thra is dying as the evil of Skeksis spreads across the land. But when three Gelfling uncover the horrific truth behind the power of Skeksis, an adventure unfolds as an epic battle for the planet begins.

Spike Lee teams up with NYU film-protégé Stefon Bristol for this time-travel feature film. It tells the tale of two Brooklyn teenage science prodigies, Claudette “C.J.” Walker and Sebastian J. Thomas, who build make-shift time machines to save C.J.'s brother Calvin from being wrongfully killed by a police officer. Directed by Bristol and produced by Lee, the film stars Eden-Duncan Smith and newcomer Danté Crichlow.

Tiffany Haddish brings her breakout comedic talent to Netflix in an original hour-long stand-up comedy special. It’s set to be taped in early 2019 and will premiere globally later this year. If her performance in television series The Last O.G. is anything to go by, it’s sure to be one hillarious treat.

Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson star in John Lee Hancock’s THE HIGHWAYMAN, a series that follows the untold true story of the legendary detectives who brought down Bonnie and Clyde. When the FBI and the latest forensic technology aren’t enough to capture the nation’s most notorious criminals, two former Texas Rangers rely on their gut instincts and old school skills to get the job done.

But guests arrived to discover the reality was far from what they had promised. Here, director Chris Smith gives a first-hand look into the disastrous crash of Fyre as told by the organisers themselves.

Inspired by real events, Hache is the story of Helena (Adriana Ugarte), a woman catapulted into the heroin trafficking business in 1960s Barcelona. Spanish writer, producer and director Verónica Fernández presents this eight-episode thriller series – marking the 5th original show Netflix has embraced from Spain.

Acclaimed Swedish director Jonas Åkerlund takes charge in this adaptation of action-noir graphic novel Polar: Came from the Cold by Victor Santos. Polar follows the world’s top assassin, Duncan Vizla (aka The Black Kaiser), as his retirement is thwarted when his former employer marks him as a liability. Inevitably, the Black Kaiser finds himself back in the game fending off an army of younger, faster assassins.
