How to improve your phone’s performance and receive the latest updates available

  • To restart your phone, simply hold down the power button found on the right side of your phone.
  • Select Restart and tap to confirm.
  • This will shut down all running apps and background processes, and then restart your phone.

  • Select Settings from the home screen.
  • Select Software Update from the menu.
  • You can either check for updates manually by selecting Download Updates Manually or select Download Updates Automatically when available.
  • You can even decide when you want your phone to download updates by selecting Scheduled software updates.

  • Select the Play Store app from the home screen.
  • Tap the icon with the three horizontal lines (found in the top left corner of the screen).
  • Select My apps & games.
  • Select Update All in the green box.

  • Select the icon with the three vertical dots (found in the top right corner of the screen).
  • Select My apps.
  • Select Update All shown in blue.
