How to improve your phone’s performance and receive the latest updates available

Step 1 - Restarting your phone
- To restart your phone, simply hold down the power button found on the right side of your phone.
- Select Restart and tap to confirm.
- This will shut down all running apps and background processes, and then restart your phone.

Step 2 - Checking for software updates
- Select Settings from the home screen.
- Select Software Update from the menu.
- You can either check for updates manually by selecting Download Updates Manually or select Download Updates Automatically when available.
- You can even decide when you want your phone to download updates by selecting Scheduled software updates.

Step 3 - Updating apps in Play Store
- Select the Play Store app from the home screen.
- Tap the icon with the three horizontal lines (found in the top left corner of the screen).
- Select My apps & games.
- Select Update All in the green box.

Step 4 - Updating apps in Galaxy Store
- Select Galaxy Apps from the home screen.
- Select the icon with the three vertical dots (found in the top right corner of the screen).
- Select My apps.
- Select Update All shown in blue.

Step 5 - Checking available storage
- Select Settings from the home screen.
- Select Device Maintenance.
- Select the storage icon (found at the bottom of the screen).
