How do I adjust the screen of my Samsung notebook when it is connected to a TV?
If the notebook screen displayed on the TV does not fit the TV screen, you can easily configure it by following this guide. The process differs according the type of graphics card used.
Nvidia graphics cards
Intel graphics cards
Type A
Type B
Turn on your notebook computer and connect it to the television using a VGA or a HDMI cable.
Right click over the notebook's desktop and select the Nvidia Control Panel.
In the Select a Task window in the left panel, select the Video and Television > Resize HDTV desktop > Resize Desktop.
Resize the desktop using the resizing bars so that the arrows in the corners of the desktop are placed in the corners of the TV, and click OK.
Right click over the notebook's desktop and select Graphics Properties.
Click Display settings and click Aspect ratio options.
Fit the notebook's screen to the TV screen by sliding the Horizontal and Vertical Resize Bars, and click OK.
Right click over the desktop of your notebook and select Graphics Properties.
Click Display > General settings and select Customise Aspect ratio from the Scaling option.
Fit the desktop of your notebook onto the TV screen by sliding the Horizontal and Vertical Resize Bars and click OK.
NOTE: if you can not find the appropriate display settings, reinstall the driver
The driver can be downloaded from the Downloads section on the Samsung UK website. Go to your product's page and then scroll down to find the appropriate driver download.
