How do I best set up my Samsung Galaxy S III if I am deaf or hard of hearing in one ear?

Beyond simply turning up the volume on your Android 4.0 (Jellybean) device you can also change the settings so that when earphones are attached to your device all the sound comes out of only one of the earbuds. This is recommended if you are deaf or hard of hearing in just one ear.

4. Scroll down to Mono audio and touch the tick box next to it to mark it with a tick, enabling it. To disable it touch the tick box again to remove the tick.
