How do I set a video file as wallpaper on my Galaxy S9/S9+?

On Galaxy S9/ S9+, you can easily set up your videos up to 100MB as video wallpaper.

Please note: It is possible to set as wallpaper both downloaded or recorded videos if playing-time is less than 15 seconds.

1 Open ‘Gallery’.
2 Select the video that you want to set as wallpaper.

3 Tap the More icon and select ‘Set as wallpaper’.

4 If you want to trim the video, tap ‘Edit’.
Edit video to insert as wallpaper

Please note: Editing the video will be necessary if your video file is larger than 100MB or longer than 15 seconds.

5 When file is ready, tap ‘Done’.
Add video as wallpaper

The video wallpaper will be played automatically when your device is in lock screen mode.
