I cannot use YouTube on my Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge to view 360° videos in my Gear VR

The normal YouTube app in Galaxy S7/S7 Edge cannot be used to view 360° video content in Gear VR.

Place the Galaxy S7 / S7 Edge in the Gear VR and follow the below instructions to view Youtube videos:

1. Go to Samsung Gear VR

2. Click on Samsung Internet Beta

3. Click Download

Once this is downloaded, tap Start to launch Gear VR YouTube.

To view 360° video, tap Full Screen icon on the right bottom corner. Video will be played in Full screen and then tap 360°.

If 360° option is not available, this means that the selected video is not available in VR/360°.

Video resolution may vary on YouTube depending on the quality of video uploaded by the third party. Please note this is not a fault with your Samsung Gear VR.
