What size memory or SD card does my Samsung Galaxy S8 or S8+ take and how do I insert it?

The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ takes SD or memory cards up to 256GB

The device supports FAT32 and exFAT file systems for memory cards. If you insert a card formatted with a different file system, the device will ask to reformat the memory card.

The files on your memory card can be found under My Files>SD card

Follow the below steps to insert your memory or SD card:

1. Insert the ejection pin into the hold on the tray to loosen the tray (you will find this at the bottom of your device)

2. Pull the tray gently from the slot. Note that as this tray also contains the SIM card, you will lose your mobile connection while the tray is open.

3. Place the memory card on the second tray with the gold-coloured contacts facing downwards.

4. Gently press the memory card into the tray to secure it

5. Insert the tray back into the tray slot.
