Question 1

What makes Galaxy Buds On different from regular in-ear earbuds?

Accepted Answer

Galaxy Buds On takes a different approach from regular in-ear earbuds with a fully open design that gently clips on the ears instead of sitting inside the ear canal. It lets you enjoy rich, powerful sound and clear calls while staying aware of the people and surroundings around you.

Question 2

What makes Galaxy Buds On feel so comfortable?

Accepted Answer

Galaxy Buds On features a fully open design that rests comfortably over your ears rather than inside them. Because it stays outside of your ear canal, your ears stay dry and comfortable. Designed based on the research across a wide range of ear shapes and everyday movements, it provides a smooth, secure fit that stays comfortable through long commutes, workdays and workouts.

^*Based on global ear data research conducted by Samsung Design Innovation Center.

^*Wireless charger and cable sold separately.

Question 5

How do I tell the left and right earbuds apart?

Accepted Answer

You don't need to. Galaxy Buds On senses which ear it's in and assigns left or right automatically. When they're resting in the cradle, the slot each one sits in decides the channel.

^*Malfunction may occur when wearing the device outside the sensor range (e.g., lying down, tilted head position) or if the cradle battery is depleted or foreign material is present.

Question 6

Is Galaxy Buds On water resistant?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Galaxy Buds On is rated IP54 for dust and water resistance, offering added peace of mind against dust and water splashes in everyday moments.

^*IP54 is dust resistant; tested for fresh water splashes from any direction for up to 5 minutes.

^*Not advised for beach or pool use. Charging Case is not water resistant. If the earbuds are damaged, they are not guaranteed to be water resistant. If the earbuds or your hands are wet, they must be dried thoroughly prior to handling or placing into the Charging Case. If placed into the Charging Case without drying, the earbuds may be damaged.
