Electronic driver logs
Drivers can easily toggle from the navigation app to the hours of service (HOS) app to electronically log hours in compliance with the ELD mandate. Electronic logs can help to improve driver productivity by eliminating manual paper logs. Electronic driver vehicle inspection reports (DVIR) are also available.
Vehicle mount and charging
The Samsung ELD and Omnitracs XRS App bundle also equips you with RAM® Mounts’ Vehicle Dock with GDS Technology™, IntelliSkin™ Case with GDS Technology™ and GDS 10-50VDC to 5VDC Male Micro-USB Type B Step Down Converter Charger.
RAM® Mounts Vehicle Dock with Integrated GDS Technology™
We’ve worked closely with RAM® Mounts to ensure compatibility of Galaxy tablets with their spring loaded, quick release cradle that offers a secure fit with easy access. Integrated GDS Technology™ enables data and charging capabilities to the mounted tablet and a GDS Step Down Converter/Charger is included. Plus, an IntelliSkin™ Case with GDS Technology™ brings drop protection to your device with an integrated connector.
