Love this product. Ive never had one problem or issue with it not once. It dies everything that it promises it says it will do and actually works fast.
So far so good , a little bit lower performance levels measures by Magician software then by crystal disk mark and Ease US disck mark
Hands down most durable. Other brand burnout in a year. Installed in my desktop to replace the original M2 ssrd that came with unit. Increase my speed and its reliable. I am confident it will last the life of my PC.
I purchased multiple drives including two (2) 4tb 990 Pro drives for a mobile workstation direct from Samsung's website. I installed them last week to find that one drive did not work at all and one drive was showing up as a 980 500gb in BIOS, Diskmanager and Samsung Magician. Contacted Samsung for support. Spent 3 days trying to resolve speaking to multiple people including being passed to the same people multiple times (tech support, sales and warranty). Each department said there was nothing they could do. Sales w...

I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to my PC gaming rig. Whenever upgrades are available, I have to be an early adopter. Sometimes it's not worth it, but the Samsung 990 Pro was definitely worth it. I'm upgrading from a 980 Pro and the difference in load times is absolutely noticeable. Not to mention my 980 Pro was a 500gb and the 990 Pro is 1tb, so in addition to increasing speed, I doubled storage space. When I say this drive is fast, I mean it's FAST. I will definitely be purchasing the 2tb 990 Pro for my gaming console A...
Samsung is still the top of the heap for fastest nvme storage and this thing is ripping fast. Sequential read speeds up to 7,450 MB/s and sequential write speeds up to 6,900 MB/s over a PCIe 4.0 slot. Installing windows took less than 10 minutes, games are loading noticeably faster than before and file transfers are maxing out my mechanical hard drives. The Samsung Magician software is pretty nice too. It gives you a dashboard for monitoring health, optimizing performance, scheduling backups and such. Really happy so ...
I have tried out this 990 Pro on a gaming rig and compared to the 980 Pro which I tried before installing it on my gaming console, it is really noticeable upfront. It's snappier, everything instantly opens and closes and running games and designing software loads extremely faster! I didn't think going from 980p to 990p would make a difference but it really does. The power saving and cooling features have improved dramatically from its predecessor so much so that I have to get one for my gaming console without a doubt! So ye...
I installed this in my msi laptop as I need more storage and man this thing is like you sitting in a g simulation test room with how fast the speeds are. Writing speeds are stupid fast saving time so you can go back to watching your favorite YouTube channel or playing your games. This is the last SSD YOU WILL EVER WANT. GET IT AND BE A MAN OR WOMAN you know because we not sexiest here. Your friends and family will look at your when you try to explain how amazing this is and call you a nerd but guess what look them in the ...
