I was happy to try to reduce microplastics so I installed this filter. Not 2 months later, the fabric was torn beyond repair, so now the filter is completely useless, and looking on the website, there are no replacements or instruction regarding warranty. $150 literally thrown in the garbage. A cheap dishwasher filter looks exactly the same but it is at least 10 times stronger. What a rip-off!

ridiculous price and poor quality

I paid for this device and paid to have it installed. It seemed to work fine but within a month, the lining of the the filter inside the device tore. I contacted Samsung to purchase a replacement filter to place inside the device, and I was informed that Samsung does not sell or even make replacement filters. I could not believe it. First of all, the construction of the filter was obviously shoddy. More importantly, it is almost unbelievable that Samsung would make a device with no replacement filters. Had I known that, I would not have purchased the device. Also, for something that is supposed to be environmentally-friendly, it is incredibly resource intensive and wasteful to have to replace the entire device rather than just having replacement filters. Do not waste your money on this device.

I'm having the exact same issue. Unit has been installed and in use 5 months and the filter is tearing. I'm curious if anyone has had luck with a new filter from Samsung.

Inferior/ wish it had a better filter

I have an update on my review... I probably spent a total of 4 hours on the phone to different departments. Nobody can seem to provide the warranty on this even though it's only a few months old. It's an endless circle of phone calls, they have no intention of ever honoring their warranty on this product
