Firstly, because of its installation design, it's almost impossible to avoid a line across the middle of the screen. It's easy to scratch and break; 15 minutes in my pocket along with my keys was more than enough to ruin it.

It is not scratch-resistant

So the product is as described, slim film for anti-reflection. However, I want to talk about installation. The installation kit is horrible, your phone wont even sit flat while applying the film. I also feel its complicated for no reason, competitors give u a case where u put phone remove once and that's it.

The middle line will show for 2-3 days and fade away. Even after doing 2 rounds of sweeping the phone with cloth, 3 rounds going all over the screen with the dust tape. I have one small air bubble which is okay. The middle lines fades away with time until you cant see it anymore, unlike bubbles which wont go away.

The product is expensive and hard to perfect the installation, so my suggestion is just to accept how it is. However, when screen is on u wont see the air bubble if its small.

I prefer touching the film rather than the naked screen. I personally don't like screen protectors. If you feel the same then you will like the product. (fingerprints do show, but its not annoying)

The photo provided is almost 48 hours after the installation. Will give you an idea about clean vs used.

Acceptable product, bad installation kit

The way the screen is installed causes it to crack in the middle of the screen. I messed up the first, and during the second installation, I was a lot more careful and gentle and still had a crack in the middle. Don't waste your money on this screen, and find one that has a better installation process.

Just don't buy this screen

I saw others reviews about the line across the screen after installation and I have my doubts, but I got it anyways because I had a $100 promotion credit to spend with purchase of my phone. Samsung says the line goes away on its own after a few days. This is correct. I used another user's tip of applying the film onto my screen in the bathroom with a hot shower going to ensure no dust gets on my screen. After watching the instruction video, I applied the film pretty effortlessly. After a few days the line did disappear on its own. Decent film, does leave some finger print smudges when using. It does reduce glare a little and it hasn't effected the sensitivity of the phone screen much (which can be adjusted in settings anyways).

Only thing I'd say is to be aware of using certain cases on the phone. I got an otterbox defender series for my s26 ultra and when I put the case on, a few spots around the edges of the protective film get lifted up, leaving small bubble look around the edges in a few locations that just come back if I flatten it due to how the case secures to the edges of the phone screen and pushes against the sides of the film on the screen. Annoying to see sometimes, but at least phone screen is protected. May be more compatible with other cases but I never tested.

Solid screen protector with slight issue with case

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I ordered 2 packs (4 total) all 4 tries had air bubbles and a line across the middle. So my brand new phone looks a mess until I can order one elsewhere.

Terrible

I’ve been in the Samsung ecosystem for a long time. I still remember when phones like my old Galaxy S9 and S10+ came with good factory-installed screen films that lasted long without bubbles or peeling edges. Since then, I’ve used many good-rated 3rd-party films, but almost all of them eventually suffered from lifting edges or trapped dust after a few months (probably a price I paid for those beautiful curved screens).
For my new S26 Ultra, I just wanted to save its non-reflective screen property. Despite all the low stars and the higher price tag than other 3rd-party options, I decided to give this official anti-reflective film a shot.
Most negative reviews complain about bubbles and trapped dust. Flying dust is like a nightmare, so I tried following a popular blog tip: turned on a hot shower in my bathroom for a few minutes and did the setup inside the bathroom (!) > The result? Absolutely zero dust trapped underneath and eliminated my biggest headache.
I was a bit worried at first when I found Samsung didn't include those common alcohol pads in the kit. However, I just followed the included instructions (also thinking that Samsung might've avoided them for a reason) and took the time, and it worked great for me.
The included mounting jig made the alignment very easy. Right after installation, I had 2 bubbles near the edge which I easily pressed out before peeling Sticker 2. I also had two small bubbles near the center. I left them alone, and they completely disappeared overnight. There was a small, around 4mm horizontal air-line right in the center from the application spli which didn't disappear completely overnight, but it faded a lot by the next day and is now almost unnoticeable (hoping it'll vanish soon to respect my 5 stars!).
I then waited about 10 mins after installation before putting my phone case back (not bought from Samsung) on, and I’ve had absolutely no issues with the edges lifting so far.
The best thing is I'm not seeing any fingerprint smudges and can't feel any difference between before vs after installing the protector. Hope this helps!

Just take your time with the installing

Applying the film is fine. No trouble on that front but I dropped the phone once and now the film protector (as well as the corner of my phone is scratched up). I get that it is an anti-reflecting film and it is transparent but what's the purpose of the film if it is not meant to protect the phone screen from scratches.

Disappointed

I ordered the S26 Ultra anti reflective screen protective film. The kit is not much different than earlier models, except they either gave me the wrong film or the wrong carrier for lining up the film onto the screen. Look at the slots on the film versus the slots on the carrier/holder. Come on Samsung, now I have to wait for a replacement! Do better please!!

Wrong protective film in the package

They should have factory installed these things . I'm surprised Samsung hasn't found a way to protect the front camera lens without losing quality .

I had to purchase another set , ended up having bestbuy install it .

As for the protector itself, it may be the best option out there once installed . This is designed to protect your screen from scratches , the impact resistance would likely be worse than tempered glass .

Tricky application, have a pro install if possible

Do not buy this product. Even if you get it for free, try it at your own risk. I genuinely don’t understand how Samsung engineers approved this design. As a long‑time Samsung fan, I’m still surprised.Yes, the line in the middle may disappear in a few rare cases, but it shouldn’t exist in the first place. The design simply doesn’t make sense. If you receive it for free, good luck. But do not spend a single penny on this poorly engineered product. Even the cheap alternatives on Amazon install better than this.

Do not buy!

* Most customers report a visible crease down the middle that persists despite careful installation and provided tools
* Many describe the material as flimsy, scratching easily from keys or pocket contact and cracking under minimal pressure
* Reviewers criticize the high price relative to poor protective performance compared to cheaper alternatives
* Several note poor fingerprint resistance, weak adhesion causing peeling corners, and reduced anti-glare effectiveness
* A few report the crease fades after several days or the protector feels smooth, but these are rare exceptions
