Excellent Case. Couldn't decide between rugged outdoor case and this one. So I got both. Glad I did. While the other is very rugged and excellent at my job sometimes you want something refined, sleek and elegant. Enter this case. Love it in the White. A nice clean, bright apperance that shows off the SIender TAB S9. It's really nice when chilling at home and not in need of something super rugged. Not to say this isn't protective because it very much is. Highly recommend. A nice compliment to the sleekness and style of Samsung Tablets. I never leave home without at least one of these cases. Sometimes both!

Sleek & Stylish...

Was confused at first. But this thing comes apart so the flap doesn't stick out in the upright position. Pretty cool see how it lasts...

Comes apart, then recombines.

It's Great quality and strong magnets. The only thing I didn't like is that the sides of the tablet is exposed, but it is so far protective.

3 week review

This cover is sleek and thin. But, it nicks and cracks along the seam easily. Have only had a month and seam is cracked!

Nice Cover - Danages Easily

I purchased this when I realized the book cover for my S8 wasn't compatible. At first I found this cover extremely heavy and awkward but decided to use it for several weeks before writing this review. I hate the pen cover in the back since it adds bulk. You can pop it off so the cover folds back and lay flat. The older cover with the pen slot in the fold was MUCH BETTER! If Samsung wanted to add the fold for standing up portrait or landscape, why not just add it to the older design? Very disappointed with this case. Please bring back the older version or at least make it another purchase option.

Bring back the old Smart Book Cover!

Bethany

It's not a wide enough base to be stable when reading the tablet vertically. If you're trying to read a magazine with a tablet vertically on a table, and anyone bumps the even slightly the tablet will fall over.

The point of getting a tablet with an origami fold on the back is that you're able to use it as a stand to read the tablet. Because of how the back is positioned, only the left third of the tablet is supported, making it a non-functional stand

Unstable and narrow

This is one of the highest quality cases that I have ever purchased. You can't tell very well in the pictures but the stand for the case looks modern. It folds down like oragami to hold the case up. It looks pretty cool, but that was just a bonus. The case it self is professional looking and protects the tablet from dust and some minor spills but I wouldn't depend on it to protect it from a drop as there is nothing protecting the edges of the tablet. Overall it looks cool and works well if you're not looking for a case to protect from drops. Also I would have felt better if it was atleast 20-30$ cheaper but I would buy it again and recommend it.

unique, stylish, professional

I miss the S8 cover. This only allows one angle of viewing, and it's unstable in landscape position.
The S8 cover didn't work for portrait, but did allow multiple viewing angles and was more stable. I suppose this cover works fine if you like it standing in portrait orientation.

Not as good as S8 cover

I loved the pink chiffon smartbook cover for my Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, so I figured I'd give this one a try. *All* of its features are pretty much the opposite of what I liked about the S6 lite cover. The origami feature can only be used on certain kinds of surfaces, the origami pieces make the case unnecessarily heavy and the tablet can't lay flat because of the pen casing. I know the casing is removeable but it's just not what I want. I much prefer a slim, sleek, lightweight cover with the s-pen stored in the spine so I bought an aftermarket cover from the online retailer named after a huge river. It's creative and I like the color but overall it's just not practical. I really wish I could return this and get my $ back.

Go for an alternative

* The product offers a mixed experience.
* Customers appreciate the tablet's performance, reliability, and features like the fingerprint sensor and stylus holder.
* However, there are significant concerns about the cover's design and functionality.
* The cover's premium quality, sleek look, and innovative magnetic stand are praised.
* Many report issues with stability and viewing angles, especially in landscape mode.
* Some find the cover provides little protection and only allows for a single viewing angle.
* Durability problems and high cost compared to third-party alternatives are also noted.
