This monitor was working well, it would occasionally shut off unexpectantly, but last week it shut off and I have not been able to get it back on. When I go to the menu it only lets me choose "support". I am guessing it needs a software update, but in order to do that you have to have a 32 gb Flash Drive (no larger) and then download the software update to the flashdrive. That is fine, I spent several days getting a 32 gb flash drive and then searched the Samsung site for an update and no firmware or software update can be found for this monitor. I love these monitors. I purchased 3 all together. I use them for a variety of things. Gaming, movies and work use. I also paired the 3 for multiview with an 85" class Q60D. i can do takeoffs and just work seamlessly.

Not worth the money. I am using this monitor next to a cheap monitor I got at Wal-Mart (the budget friendly Sceptre lol). While being only slightly better in quality, it is smaller in size. The mark-ups on these things outside of the Samsung store are ridiculous. Best Buy sells this for $140. I should add there is very little adjustment available for the screen and no adjustment for height. Assembly was required, as was a screwdriver, and the screws barely worked before becoming stripped. I use my monitor as one of two for when I telework at home. The curve displays allows for better spacing on the desk, and keeps all the information aimed towards me for ease of capturing interest between the two screens. They both work seamlessly with my state supplied Dell laptop and Dell docking station. I have also used the Dex feature from Samsung Galaxy phones, and Samsung Galaxy Tabs on the monitors and it works great.

I purchased the computer monitor at the Micro center in Paterson, NJ. They did not post the review so I am discussing it here. We’re happy with our Samsung Essentials 3 Monitor. It replaces another Samsung monitor which after many years had a flickering problem. The colors are vibrant, our external speakers work, and it’s easy to navigate. However, we had some difficulty with the setup. There are 2 screws to attach the monitor and stand. The screws for the monitor were app. 2 millimeters out of alignment with the stand. My husband had to drill the holes to attach the monitor and stand.
