SAMSUNG Electronics’ Unique Cultural Marketing at the Louvre

Samsung Electronics Co.,Ltd., introduced its digital TVs through a unique cultural marketing event at the Louvre Museum in France. Over 500 dealers and local journalists attended Samsung Expo Vision, which opened at Le Carrousel Du Louvre (the plaza inside the museum complex). The company’s entire lineup was on display, including the world’s largest PDP (63”) and LCD (40”) models as well as projection TVs and completely flat screen TVs.
Such masterpieces as “Wedding Feast at Cana abound at the Lourve,”. Samsung Electronics decided to show off its products and technology there to illustrate history being rewritten through digital technology.
According to Samsung Electronics Managing Director Kim Young-yoon of the Image Display Division, “Holding this event at the Lourve reflects our determination to emerge as a top brand in displays. This is also a marketing strategy aimed at the French, who regard art highly.”
