This projector is absolutely incredible! I already have Samsung TVs, so I was familiar with the interface, which was a big plus. I can simply turn it on, and it functions just like my other devices, seamlessly integrating with Amazon, Spectrum, movies, and other apps.

Setting it up was a breeze, especially for someone like me who isn’t great at setting up media equipment. My screen is 120 inches, and the projector image fit perfectly, with only minor adjustments needed for the legs. One of the best parts was how easy it was—basically, all I had to do was plug it in. The picture quality is crystal clear, far superior to my old projector.

Easy Setup and Incredible Performance

I bought Samsung The Premiere 7 LPU7D and was immediately impressed by its specs. I was specifically looking for a 4K ultra short throw (UST) projector with HDR and gaming support, and The Premiere checked all the boxes. Plus, it offered great value without breaking the bank.
I chose the LPU7D because it has 2700 lumens, perfect for my darkened home theater room. Unboxing and setting up the projector was a breeze, and the user-friendly menu made calibration simple. 
Overall, I’m thrilled with The Premiere. It’s a high-quality UST projector with an easy setup and a great price. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to build an incredible home cinema.

Fantastic UST projector with all the features

I’ve been trying out Samsung’s Premiere 7 Laser Projector (LPU7D, 2024), and honestly—it’s a really fun way to bring the movie theater home without having to hang a giant TV on the wall.

The biggest win is the ultra-short throw design. You can set it just a few inches from the wall and still get a massive screen (up to 120 inches). No ceiling mounts, no messy wires—just drop it on a cabinet and go. The design itself looks clean and modern, so it blends in nicely instead of screaming “projector.”

The picture quality is solid—4K via pixel-shift looks sharp, and Samsung’s AI upscaling does a decent job making lower-res stuff look better. That said, it’s not the brightest projector out there. If you’ve got a lot of sunlight in your living room, the image can look a little washed out. It really shines in a dark room, though—movies and shows feel way more immersive.

I also like that it’s basically a smart TV in projector form. You’ve got Samsung’s Tizen OS, streaming apps, even a gaming hub built in. No need for extra boxes unless you want them. The built-in speakers are surprisingly decent too—30 watts with Dolby Atmos. Obviously, a soundbar or surround system is going to beat it, but for casual watching, it’s more than fine.
If you’ve got a controlled lighting space and want a stylish, all-in-one projector that doubles as a giant smart TV, the Premiere 7 is a solid pick. It’s not the best choice if you’re battling a bright room or want absolute top-tier picture quality.

This product has great features

The Premier projector does everything with ease. From watching movies, streaming videos, and watching TV, the picture is amazing. Gaming on it is great, too. First person shooters will experience some lag, but what TV doesn't! All in all, this has been a great purchase for our theatre room.

Projector is amazing

This is by far the best projector I have ever experienced. The way it sits right against the way and projects the image is awesome and helps save space and no cords running everywhere. The picture and sound quality surpassed my expectations, the sound is clear and crisp even at full volume. I love how the audio follows the action across the screen. If in the market for a projector this one is definitely a good choice.

Best projector I have ever experienced

My wife and I bought this projector for our basement theater room, and we mean an actual theater room. We have a 150' screen on our wall and it projects stunningly! The picture always amazes me and our friends. An old friend of mine came for a visit and said, I bet you have the biggest TV in town, but what he saw blew his mind beyond his expectations! We watched movies all weekend and played video games.  We hooked up a 7.2 surround sound to it visit Sony. We never go to the theater anymore and everyone loves coming to our place for parties. Even watching TV programs on it is incredible! I will say this, we did have an issue about half a year after we bought it. However, Samsung was one of the best customer services I've ever dealth with getting it repaired, and it cost us $0. We've had it since it first released, so around 4 years. Most other brands cost $4200 to get something comparable. The cost was great for us and I cannot recommend it more. Thank you Samsung for making s great product!

The Best Projector

This project has exceeded my expectations.  I am blessed to have a dedicated media room.  There are no windows or outside light for me to worry about.  So, the colors come through very well.  The setup is easy and I was up an running in less than 30 minutes.
