Swatting Mosquito-Borne Disease

Lawrence County High School · Alabama

Project Information

The aptly dubbed 'Bloodsuckers' project sees the students of Lawrence County High School delve into the environmental and cultural factors contributing to the spread of mosquito-borne illnesses. Though this is a global issue, the students hit the ground running by exploring ways to prevent such diseases from spreading within their local community. These STEM-fueled tactics will hopefully spare others in the future from the painful symptoms of these diseases and ultimately stifle epidemics.
